Rivanna River Sojourn

Join the Rivanna Conservation Society and BRMS for an overnight paddle on the scenic Rivanna River.

A $75 per person donation to the RCS will include:

1. A professionally guided paddle down the Rivanna River;
2. Complimentary tent and camp set-up;
3. One breakfast, two lunches, and one dinner.

Launch by 9am from Shadwell and travel 15 miles to Pleasant Grove for the night, where there will be dinner, live music, a full moon, and campfire stories (with a prize for the best river story).

Paddlers will have the option to participate in three activities during the trip: river clean-up, naturalist/birding, and river exploration.
